Factories are essential to increase your coalitions unit capacity by providing Resource Points.
To enable you to more easily find the your coalition factories, we can use the F10 → F1 (Status) → F2 (Summary) → F1 (Limits)
or use the -limits
chat command
Each coalition can deploy a maximum of 8 factories
A factory must be located in an industrial zone, designated by purple corners.
The corners may appear red when “buildable” due to the transparency interaction between the yellow fill and purple corner.
To make an Industrial zone build able, we must have a friendly unit in the zone or an adjacent zone; as well as all adjacent zones under your coalition's control, or neutral (white border) - just like creating a FARP buildable zone
You can deploy a maximum of 2 factories within an industrial zone
To deploy a factory, we spawn a Factory Build Crate use the F10 menu at a level 3 airbase or FARP
F10 (Other) → F2 (Cargo) → F3 (Spawn Items) → F1 (Base Items) → Factory Build Crate
This crate can be loaded internally into logistics airframes, sling loaded, or loaded into Utility trucks and moved to a position at least 8nm away from a Friendly Airbase or FARP
Once at the destination, unpack the crate and you will be met with a Factory Construction Site.
The build time of a factory is variable between instant and 5 hours, based on the slotted player counts over a 5 hour period to ensure that a team that has been outnumbered for an extended period is not punished further and has the ability to “catch up”
Once the construction phase has been completed, the factory will be replaced with a harder to kill factory which requires a bunker busters
