International Shipping is a facility to transport units over large expanses of water.
You can only ship in straight lines from point A to point B
No islands in the way etc.
This avoids complex routing, and keeps it simple for DCS
You need not worry about restarts, the ships will continue their journey from where they stopped
Destroying the shipment in progress you will not regain the units within
Look after your shipments!
Your origin must be with 1km of the water in a direct line to your destination
To mark your Origin, place a map marker down with the following syntax:
SHIP <CODE> A
Code can be any text you like, to label your group and associate your units to the destination
Much like origin; your destination must be with 1km of the water in a direct line from your origin.
To mark your destination, place a map marker down with the following syntax:
SHIP <CODE> B
Once complete, you will receive an indication that your route is valid, and if not, what you need to do
Once you have a valid route and your units are ready for embarkation, edit the spawn marker and append GO
For example: SHIP SHIPMENT1 A GO
