Each coalition has the ability to spawn two E2 Data Link contributing aircraft:

To deploy an E2 create a Map Marker where you wish to anchor the E2, and label it in the format: E2 A 270/20 FL270
. This will deploy Darkstar 1-1 on a 270 20nm leg racetrack, at flight level 270.
Command format is E2 <unit character> <bearing>/<leg> <altitude>

Removing the map marker will have no effect on the E2.
To move an E2, just create a new marker with the same format as deploying, and the E2 will immediately reposition to the target area.
Create a marker with text E2 A LAND
to land at the closest friendly airfield to the marker.
Upon landing the E2 will despawn and it’s life will be returned.
Each coalition has 2 E2 Lives.
These lifes regenerate in parallel and take 3 hours after the life was ‘banked’.
When an E2 lands, the life is returned, and the E2 despawns, ready to be re-tasked
Check the status with F10 F10 Other -> F1 Status -> F2 Summary -> F3 AWACS
Look after your E2s!
When you kill an E2, you will be notified
If you fail to return to a friendly SECURE or BUILT zone, the enemy E2 life will be returned!
You will be notified when you have “banked” the E2 life upon entering a friendly zone
